Hunting Warhead is an award-winning investigative true-crime podcast from CBC Podcasts and the Norwegian newspaper VG. Hosted by Daemon Fairless, the show follows journalists, white-hat hackers, and an international police task force as they infiltrate the dark web to hunt down the administrators and users of a massive child sexual abuse network.

The first season explores the global mission to take down “Child’s Play,” the largest child abuse website on the darknet. It examines the ethical dilemmas and tactics law enforcement uses to bring abusers to justice while rescuing victims around the world.

Following the success of the first season, the podcast returned for a second season subtitled Hunting the Suicide Salesman. This season follows the global investigation into Kenneth Law, a Canadian man accused of running online networks that sold a lethal substance and helped vulnerable people take their own lives across multiple countries.

Fairless, an award-winning investigative journalist and writer, and host at CBC Podcasts who has guided listeners through some of the darkest, most complex corners of the digital world, joins Cybercrime Magazine Podcast host Heather Engel to discuss Hunting Warhead, criminal enterprises on the dark web, and more.
